Full Report
Iranian Air Force F-4 Phantoms were scrambled to intercept a brilliantly lit object over Tehran. Both jets reported electronic systems and weapons going offline as they approached. The case is documented in a US Defense Intelligence Agency memo. Smaller objects were observed separating from the main craft.

What I find compelling is the documentation. DIA cable, weapons-system failures across two airframes, ground witnesses, this isn't anecdotal.

The redundant systems failure on the second F-4 is technically very hard to explain. I've spoken to two F-4 pilots, neither could replicate it.
