Across thousands of abduction reports collected since the 1970s, witnesses describe a tall insectoid Mantid figure presiding over examination procedures conducted by smaller Grey beings. The Mantid is consistently described as 6–8 feet tall, with a triangular insect head, large dark eyes, long folded arms, and an aura of authority and calmness.
