Thousands of witnesses across Arizona and Nevada observed a massive V-shaped formation of lights silently moving across the sky. Governor Fife Symington initially dismissed the event publicly, then later confirmed he had personally seen the craft and described it as 'otherworldly'. The event remains one of the largest mass UFO sightings in modern American history.
