Full Report
At sunrise on 14 April 1561, residents of Nuremberg reported a 'dreadful apparition' of cylinders, spheres and crosses dueling in the sky. The event was documented in a contemporary broadsheet by Hans Glaser including a now-famous woodcut. Considered the earliest detailed mass UFO record from Europe.
